Fixed-position test Tsukuba Global Science Week 2024
Tsukuba Global Science Week 2024 (TGSW2024) was held over five days from September 30 to October 4 at the University of Tsukuba and online.
Marking its 13th edition, TGSW2024 featured 24 sessions held during the event period from September 30 to October 4. Of these, five sessions were held online on September 30 and October 1, while from October 2 to 4, 17 sessions—in addition to the opening and closing ceremonies/farewell reception—were held in a hybrid format at the University Hall of the University of Tsukuba, allowing for both in-person and online participation.
The closing reception was a grand event, attended by many researchers from overseas.
The total number of registered participants for the entire duration of TGSW2024 was 1,207, of which 730 attended the in-person venue. Thank you very much for your participation. We look forward to seeing you at the next TGSW.
Next year, in place of TGSW, the Tsukuba Conference, organized by the Tsukuba Conference Committee, is scheduled to be held at the Tsukuba International Congress Center for three days from Wednesday, October 1 to Friday, October 3, 2025, under the main theme “Going into New Frontiers with Society.”
